So... As most of you know my summer plans have changed rather dramatically. I'll now be spending the remainder of the summer in Fiji with a humanitarian aide group called HELP International. I'll be keeping up a blog with pictures and journal entries if you guys want to keep tabs on me :) Wish me luck!

My forearms are sore... How does this even happen?
So I decided on a couple things this weekend:
1. I'm going to get freaking good at rock climbing. I went Saturday night with some friends. It was a blast, but my forearms are so sore! I didn't know that was even possible. How do you even work those muscles without doing more rock climbing? It's a mystery. Any ideas Ang?
2. I'm going to get in to mountain biking. This will have to wait until summer, and I'll probably kill myself (last time I was on a bike I rode it into a lake... on accident), but it will be sweet!
3. I'm running the Provo River Half Marathon this summer. Yeah baby. Ang, Em, you in?
Look Mauri, I did my own post!

More Happy Moments With Jessica...
- When all of a sudden traffic slows and you can't figure out why, then, sixteen cars in front of you, you see a cop. Makes me laugh every time
- America's Next Top Model marathons- I don't know why. Don't ask

Things I'm Grateful For
You know sometimes life is hard. When it gets rough, it is so easy to feel sorry for yourself, to give up, or to feel bitter. Sometimes it feels like you've got nothing to look forward to because all that you've waited for has fallen through. The good news is that there are so many things about this life that make it totally worth it. Here's a list of some things I like to think about...
- Snowcapped Mountains
- Crossing guards helping little kids get to school
- Crunchy leaves
- When people snort when they laugh
- Being chased by Chiuahuahs
- Getting phone calls/text messages from my sisters
- People who whistle or sing to themselves on campus
- Laughing when it's supposed to be quiet
- When you're singing songs in sacrament meeting and the kid behind you sings really loud and off key... but he's happy about it
- Flannel sheets-especially just after you put them on
- Edward Cullen... Just kidding. Or am I...
- Emilie finding my future husband
- My truck
- Running up the stairs at my house
- Inside jokes
- Cloudy days
- Sunny days
- Just days
There's much more but I gotta get back to work. It just amazes me how much the little things matter

Boys Boys Boys
So since this is what I keep getting asked about I figured I'd give you a little blurb even though there is nothing too exciting going on. I've actually been dating a lot lately, and let me tell you I HATE IT! I keep getting asked out by weirdos. I went to watch my roommate play in her show a few weeks ago. Her band was the last to play so we sat through a few others, including a band called Green Like July. After they were done the guitarist came up and asked me if I'd like to hang out sometime. I was a little taken aback but said sure after a few moments of hesitation (I am very clever) and he proceeded to ask for my phone number. He got my number and then he left! He didn't say anything else! Weird... Anyways he called me the next weekend and took me to the haunted woods and then we went back to his apartment to watch a movie. I sat with my arms folded (universal DONT TOUCH ME sign) and he reached for my hand. He kept trying to like unfold my arms! Of course, being as deftly clever as I am, I just pretended I didn't know what was happening... I think that from now on I will just tell any suitor that I'm married to a Japenese sailor munk who's across the sea working for the FBI on a top secret case in Jamaica and when he gets back he's gonna kick their butt! Good idea, yes?
